Manipulate your viewer
For my manipulate your viewer assignment I chose the theme of love.
short depth of field;
For my short depth of field photo I set up my camera on a makeshift tripod and set a timer. this shot took a couple of tries but overall I think it turned out pretty good. If I were to change anything about this photo I definitely would have added more lighting in the car so that the subject was a little brighter and clearer.
long depth of field;
Again for my long depth of field photo I rested my camera on a chair and used a self timer. I think this photo follows the theme of love because both my boyfriend Michael and I are in a position that in my opinion is very loving. For example his arm around me and my head resting on his shoulder all would lead someone to think that we were in a relationship.
Motion blur;
For this photo I thought it would be a cool idea to use the ttc as the movement for my motion blur photo so again I set up my camera and set another timer. Thankfully with a lot of missed takes we finally got this one. If I were to redo this photo I probably would have set a slightly faster shutter speed and changed the set up of the shot so you could actually tell that it was taken at the subway.
vantage point;
This photo turned out to be my favourite of this series, I love the bright colours and how dreamy it looks. The mirror that I used was actually tinted rose coloured which I think really adds to the dreaminess of the photo as well as compliments the red flowers nicely. I picked to take this among red flowers because I red is the colour of love and passion which follows along with the theme. We are holding each others hand again because that is another symbol of love.
